KYLE MACY played at UK from 1978-80, was a 3-time All American (78,79,80), SEC Player of the Year (1979-80), 1978 NCAA Regional Most Outstanding Player, Led UK to 1978 National Championship, and is the All-Time Free Throw percentage leader (tied with Jodie Meeks). Who can forget the Mideast Regional game vs Michigan State and Magic Johnson when Kyle Macy stepped up to the free throw line and iced the game with his free throws in a low scoring game. Because of his heroics in this game, Kyle, was named the MOP of the Mid-East Regional. This victory led UK on to the Final Four where they won the 1978 NCAA National Championship game over Duke.
